| I have enjoyed the dental profession for 24 years. I was raised and attended secondary schools in North Houston. My undergraduate studies were in
Biology at Texas A&M University. I obtained my Doctor of
Dental Surgery degree from the
University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. I
graduated with honors and was inducted into
Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor
Fraternity. My General Practice Residency training was
accomplished at the Olin E. Teague VA Hospital in Temple,
Texas.
I presently live in Klein Texas. My
wife, Kelly, is a counselor at Klein High School. My oldest
son, Shane, attends Texas State University in San Marcos and
majors in Business Administration and History. Joshua is a
sophomore at Klein. He plays club and school soccer as a
goalie. He also kicks as a sophomore for the JV football
team.
Personally, I enjoy my kid’s activities, fitness, working
around the house, yard work, and writing. I had my first screenplay, The Perfect Tenant,
produced in 2000. It has been shown on HBO, Lifetime, and other
cable networks.
I am very active in my church, St.
Ignatius Loyola , and serve in various ministries and charity functions. I
was recently elected as an officer for the Knights of Columbus.
Presently, I am working on my masters
in Pastoral Studies at the University of St. Thomas in conjunction with St. Mary’s seminary.
I have always found my profession to be very challenging and ever changing. My office strives
to remain current in all new treatment modalities and materials. I enjoy treating the “whole” patient,
and not just “holes” in teeth. I am attentive to my patient’s needs and
pride myself in the listening skills I have developed over the past 24 years.
No problem is too small or “unimportant”.
As a General Dentist I frequently
perform and enjoy all phases of clinical dentistry. My
favorite areas, however, are cosmetics, including ceramic
porcelain crowns and porcelain veneers, and fabricating
removable partial dentures. I have also had additional
training in oral surgery, pre-prosthetic procedures, and
conscious sedation while in my residency training.
I look forward to taking care of you and your family’s dental needs for years to come. I am
available to meet, talk and answer any questions you might
have. You may also contact me directly at
